Simpler registration fees

This year, we are offering simpler registration fees in line with other conferences. Instead of a non-member rate, non-members will pay the additional DRS membership fee on top of the regular fee. 

Subsidised registration is for PhD students and current residents of low/middle-income (Official Development Assistance/ODA-eligible) countries. These countries are listed here.

Online registration is for remote-only participation and gives you access to all Papers and Keynotes, as well as selected hybrid Conversations and Explorations.

If you need DRS to issue an invoice to your institution for payment, please contact support@thedrs.org. 

Not a DRS member?

Instead of a non-member registration fee, you'll pay the fee plus the DRS membership fee that applies to you. When you followw the registraton link, you'll be asked first to pay for your membership, and then to pay for the conference. You can immediately cancel autorenew for your membership in your account (we cannot control this part unfortunately).

What's included

The registration fee gives you access to nearly everything at DRS2026. Papers, Conversations, Explorations, keynote events, meals — they're all included. The only thing missing is you!

Research papers

Four days of paper presentation sessions with approx. 550 papers. DRS’s largest and most competitive conference in our history. 

Explorations and Conversations

50+ hosted Conversations and Explorations (workshops and other hands-on experiments).

Evening receptions and keynotes

Welcome reception at Edinburgh College of Art, 2+ keynote events, and closing party at McEwan Hall.

Non-stop food

Lunch every day, tea and biscuits available round the clock, and a gala dinner.

Acccess to Fringe

Friday will be Fringe. There are day-long events planned with the V&A Dundee, Jupiter Artland, and more to come.
